As an international student in Tokyo, I wanted to get my hair done because it was in need of some love, and who doesn't want a new haircut for school. So I looked up places that specialize in foreigner hair, and Assort Tokyo popped up. Prior to this experience I'd never heard of Assort but I'm so glad I booked an appointment. My stylist was Hide, and originally I was a little worried because being from the USA, I don't usually see male hairdressers that know how to cut women's hair. But I can say I'm beyond happy with how my hair looks, it was so dry and dead looking when I got Assort and Hide gave my hair, the layers, volume and the rejuvenation that it desperately needed. I would 100% recommend Assort to anyone in Tokyo looking to get their hair done! I think I'll definitely be back (maybe to switch up the color before I leave Japan🙂↕️!) Very hospitable and reasonably priced for the quality of their work as well! (Plus they give you a complimentary drink, the hojicha is great!)
